About the author: Armando Nicdao
Writer, basketball fan, and the person who double-checks the maths before anything goes live.
Background
Armando is a Filipino writer covering online gaming, sports betting and digital payments for Philippine readers. He grew up watching PBA games with family and learned card games like tongits and pusoy dos long before he ever opened a poker app. That mix of fandom and number-crunching shapes how he writes: practical, a bit nerdy about odds, and always honest about the risks.
What Armando covers
- Platform walkthroughs such as the 3JLPH beginner's guide
- Game maths: slot RTP and volatility, decimal odds and pot odds
- Arcade and social games, including fishing games
- Money safety: payments, mobile security and budgeting
How Armando tests and writes
- Researches official sources first: regulator pages, game rules and paytables.
- Uses AI tools to help organise research and draft structure.
- Rewrites, fact-checks numbers by hand, and adds Philippine context.
- Re-reviews articles regularly and updates the "Last updated" date only when content actually changes.
